Mixlister Widgets

A "Widget" is a small program that runs on your computer that makes it easy to get quick information (such as the date or weather) or perform a quick task (such as adding an item to a to-do-list). There are several widgets available for Mixlister that make it easy to review songs, add songs to playlists, look up album information and generally have more fun with your music.

Yahoo Widget Engine All Mixlister Widgets require the Yahoo Widget Engine to run. The Yahoo Widget Engine is a free program for both Windows and Mac that allows you to run hundreds of different widgets created by programmers all over the world.

Mixlister DesktopDesktop Widget
The Desktop Widget is the perfect companion to iTunes. It will display Mixlister-related information on the currently playing song including album artwork, reviews, full album list and any playlist that song or artist appears in. The Desktop Widget also makes it really easy to review your music as you listen.

This is a website for creating, sharing and organizing playlists of music.
Sharing Playlists
With Mixlister, you can easily create a playlist, customize it and share it with friends by sending an eCard, posting it on a blog, or adding it to your profile.
Community Playlists
In Mixlister, anyone can add songs and contribute to an "Open Playlist". Have an idea for a playlist and want to let other musical-gurus help suggest songs? Throwing a party and want to let your guests choose the playlist? Make your playlist "Open".
Organize Your Music
Mixlister allows anyone to "Review" any song by selecting a tempo and adding tags. Reviewing songs helps you keep track of music and allows you to eaily create quick mixes of music. Tags also allow others to see what music you are interested in.
